  • 수업 포커스 수업목표, 장점:
    English for Academic Purposes (EAP) 수업은 미국 내 대학에서의 어학 연수를 위한 랭귀지 수업을 제공 합니다. 이 수업은 듣기 능력, 유창성 향상, 구술 능력, 읽기, 문법, 쓰기, 어휘력 향상을 위한 학습을 포함 하고 있습니다. 또한 시험 스킬과 필기 스킬, 학문적인 어휘 구사력, 독해와 작문 능력, 강의 이해 능력, 리서치 스킬, 형식에 맞는 작문법, 리서치 페이퍼 작성과 같은 학문적인 스킬들도 가르치고 있습니다. EAP에 포함된 학생들은 조건을 충족할 시에 델라웨어 대학과 또 자매결연을 맺은 다른 수많은 대학에 입학 신청을 할 수 있습니다.
     
    커리큘럼 :
    EAP 수업은 짧은 기간 내에 최대한으로 영어 실력을 향상 시키고 싶은 학생들을 위해 디자인 되었습니다. 한 주당 28시간의 수업이 진행되며 여섯 개 레벨의 클래스에 10에서 14명의 학생이 들어가며 18세 이상의 학생만이 참여할 수 있습니다. 두 달간 진행되는 이 프로그램은 더 나은 영어 커뮤니케이션과 이해를 위한 듣기와 말하기와 읽기와 쓰기에 중점을 둡니다. 모든 학생은 듣기/말하기 수업과 읽기/쓰기 수업을 듣게 됩니다.
    듣기/말하기 수업은 학생들의 유창성과 문법 능력과 발음과 듣기 능력의 향상을 위주로 진행 됩니다. 모든 수업은 현대적이고 검증 받은 방법으로 진행되며 학생들이 영어를 사용하여 소통하고, 문제를 해결하고, 캠퍼스에서의 미국 생활에 참여할 수 있도록 도와줍니다. (주 10시간)
    읽기/쓰기 수업은 학생들의 읽기, 쓰기, 문법, 어휘력, 리서치 능력을 향상 시켜 줍니다. 초급 레벨부터 고급 레벨까지 흥미로운 커리큘럼을 활용하여 학생들의 작문 능력과 독해 능력을 향상 시켜주는 수업 입니다. (주 10시간)
